Rat Pack Shorts

This is the first short of the Rat Pack! Enjoy! All of these characters are mainly fictional, btw...

Chapter 1
English class had finally ended. Students of a school ran into the halls at a great speed. The six best friends met at their usual spot by the window. John and Kristin each had three pink straws in their mouths. “What are you doing?” Rebekah asked. “Celebrating the end of the Civics exam!” John said. “Watch this!” The two sprinkled confetti the each straw. Then, they blew it all out. “Interesting…” Darcy said, cocking her head. Rachel came out of the Civics room crying her eyes out. “Rachel!” Kristin ran to her. “What’s the matter?” “Why do you have straws sticking out of your mouth?” She sniffled. “It’s a comedian act, darling!” Kristin said, extending her arms. She and John suddenly burst into a huge complete with high kicks, lots of confetti, and sticking Kristin’s head in the water fountain. “That’s nice! But…” Rachel burst out crying again. “I got a 92 on my math exam! 92!!!!!” Rachel was screeching like it was the end of the world. “Hey, 92 is still an A!” Rebekah assured. “Yes, but it was an A-! So close to death to a B! This is a matter of life and death…of grades!” Rachel bawled. “That’s an A-?” Darcy asked. “I thought that was just a funky line teachers drew cause they got bored!” “Rachel! Rachel!” Reed yelled. "I just really, REALLY have to go to the bathroom!” John said. “GO!” The others screamed at once. John took of running. “Well, that helped.” Rachel said, drying her eyes on her sleeve. “Why were you crying now? Did you not know what you got on your exam last year?” Rebekah asked. “No!” Rachel said. “Well;” Reed said, walking over to them. “Now, it’s 10th grade! Time to focus on important things!” “Like cleaning your laptop?” Kristin asked. “Well…” Reed paused and pulled it out of his bag. The other girls screamed and Kristin hollered. Reed’s white laptop was covered in dirt, brown crust, and food crumbs. A stray fly buzzed around it. “What? Yesterday, I brought in lumpfulls of dirt and my cat threw up sandwich…both near this laptop!” “That is so gross!” Rebekah yelped. The bell rang. It was time for study hall.

Sorry about the sudden "new rat pack" announcement. The old rat pack still stands...just without me in it, I guess. I made a new one, but that doesn't mean ditching or anything. But should I do the shorts?

Home from camp!

Camp was AAAWWWEEESSSOOOMMMEE!!!! I had my greatest friends there! There was even a dance! One of my friends danced with a Nick Jonas look alike! We had a fake court where we had to sweep the lodge, and we dumped all the trash on one of our counselers! Despite the gorss food and stuff..and bugs...the horses were amazing, we wnt on lots of trail rides! GO THERE NEXT YEAR!

Leaving!

On Sunday the 12th, I am leaving for camp YI with three of my best friends! On the next Saturday, I will be home from my wilderness extravaganza! There's even a dance! It'll be kinda like Bear Creek, but probably less dangerous plus with my girls! But no one really goes to my blog...
