Art Teacher 5

Only place I can post them now! Anyway, check out Chapter 10 of 25 pages!!

THE LAST OF HAYDEN!!!

Here we are! Bella begins tommorrow! Yeah, it's short.

Book 1
Hayden
Chapter 10
I e-mailed a copy of the book to an eager Clara as I got home from school. Tired, I collapsed onto the old blue couch and started thinking about what on Earth I could do to get this book to Justin. I fingered the copy, which was already torn from being tossed between my friends. When I went into school the next morning, I knew that today would be the day. Later that afternoon, Justin and I were both at our lockers again. “Hayden...” A voice nagged. Dream was standing behind me, arms crossed. “Stop staring at me!” I yelled. Justin looked over, lips pursed just so. “Oh, I have an extra copy of this book I wrote..do you want it?” I stammered. “Awesome, sure.” He said lightly, quickly taking it and stuffing it into his bookbag. He mumbled some more things to himself, quickly adding more to his bookbag before jumping up and running down the hallway. “You made him nervous.” Dream chuckled. “Yeah, sure.” I replied, watching him as he ran down the hallway and out to the buses.

So my novel changed me, obviously. I was still a shy writer, but I was a shy writer with a purpose. Bella had thought I was “so dead” writing this book. I no longer believed her, because I didn’t care nearly half as much what people thought of me or my creation. Now there was only to wait for my book to be read, published, and loved by millions. -Hayden

25 pages Chapter 9

One more chapter before Hayden is over and Bella is IN!!!

Book 1
Hayden
Chapter 9
The large printer ground, flipping fresh sheets of paper over to print two sided. The sixteenth copy was stapled, spitting out of the printer with a squeak. I grabbed the warm stack of books. I had finally finished my novel, This Is Life, and was ready to distribute it Monday. I felt happy Monday morning, carrying a green corduroy messenger bag full of the papers. I took one out of the bag and flipped through it. The dedication was to my friends Dream, Alison, Ben, Eliza, Bella (yes, she had inspired me, too) and Justin, who would probably be shocked by this. “Ooh, books!” Bella screamed as she entered the cafeteria. She grabbed the first one, threw it into her bag, and started applying makeup. “Wow, rude.” I mumbled. Our friends, Sam and John, entered behind her talking. Sam quickly took a book without saying much. He then set it on top of his French horn. “Wow, that’s a big book.” John whistled. A group of our friends entered who all wanted one. Alison screamed and nearly fainted when I gave her one. She immediately began reading it, smiling. “Yay! I knew you’d follow through with it!” Dream gasped as I handed her a copy. “Sweet.” Ben smiled as he walked by our table. Mrs. Regan smiled as I handed her the draft. Eliza pocketed a copy, then fell asleep on it. Sierra ran into my homeroom just to get one. I was feeling like a mini-celebrity. Many people were asking me about the book. Brenda made a little cough as we all took our seats in homeroom. “Can I have one?” She asked quietly. “Yeah!” I nodded, sliding one across the table to her. She quickly opened it and scanned the first chapter. “Now you have to give one to Justin.” Ben said next period. I shook my head. “I know, but what do I do?” “You hit him on the head with it.” Dream said, collapsing into loud laughter. “No! You nicely ask if he wants one.” Alison said, waving her hands. “Yeah, you tell him you have another copy and ask if he wants it.” Ben nodded. “Easy.” “Not so easy, actually. I bet my knees shake and my words come out a million miles an hour.” I replied with a sigh. “You doubt yourself way too much, Hayden. Does that really help you? Answer is no.” Dream told me in a wise tone. “True.” I nodded. I started running through the scene in my head. I would CONFIDENTLY ask Justin if he wanted my book. Yeah, I would be able to do it.

“You can do this!” Eliza said, waving her hands in front of my face in last period. “I can do this!” I yelled back at her. “Good.” She nodded as Mrs. Regan dismissed us. I went to my locker, trying to move my stuff into a bag as slowly as I could. Justin walked out with his friend, waved goodbye, and kneeled on the ground. I swallowed hard and my knees began shaking. I looked to my left to see Ben staring at me. He gave me a quick, “Go ahead” type of nod. I opened my mouth and closed it again as Justin got up and left. I had failed again.

Yabba dabbba doooo!

I don't know why I put that there. Anyway, my swim coach Justin Karpinos (who happens to have a CD out!!!) is now called Mr. Metaphor. How many coaches have told you this, "Be like uncooked spaghetti in backstroke!" or "For breastroke, make a pizza and cut it; that's what your pull should look like." Haha.

Today, a kid asked if he wet his pants, since standing near the pool offers quite a splash. This'll be a good team...maybe the next Thunderbirds?!?!? Nah, there's no mean girls.

Anyway...check out graphjam.com for cool graphs about ironic and funny things. (Advisory...sometimes they are PG-13) but here's a cool one on the front page today.

The more you think about it, the more true it is!

25 pages...Chapter 8!!

Book 1
Hayden
Chapter 8
“Do we have homework?” Justin asked randomly, staring into his locker. I opened my mouth to tell him about our annoying amount of math homework when the girl next to him answered, “Math!” She nodded her gigantic earrings and he smiled. “Thanks.” I felt like sobbing. I blinked my eyes a few times, jumped up, and ran outside to the car quickly as I could. “How was the day, honey?” Mom asked with a hopeful smile, as usual. “Ugh.” I grumbled, looking at the sheet in my pocket. I began to worry about my book. When it was finally released, I wondered what the people who had starring roles would think, especially the boy who had “injured me emotionally” . I wondered what he would think about the events in the book. Bella would read about her character and be shocked that she appeared so...mean. Dream would hate her character, who was involved in the Acts of Ben, as well as Ben’s character was. Alison would probably read the whole book in twenty minutes, so I wouldn’t have to worry about her. Justin would see that our characters kissed, and there could be any mixed reaction to that. I started a vicious cycle of panic as Mom pulled into the garage. Nonetheless, I had to finish the book. I typed some of the near final chapters in the book, staring at them with tears in my eyes. The book was nearly done before the year was, and the weight of possible reactions was pressing down hard on me. I blinked and sent an e-mail to Mrs. Regan containing all I had of the novel so far. I thought too much about what people thought of me. The next morning, I walked into homeroom, feeling dreary from last night’s sob-fest. “Hayden.” Mrs. Regan said. “I read your book last night.” “The whole thing?” I gasped. “Let’s just say that the extra cup of coffee wasn’t the best idea.” She smiled. “The ideas are great, and the vocabulary is amazing. I really think you should get it published.” She said. “Wow, really? Thanks!” I replied, strolling back to my seat. Brenda looked up at me and smiled. “Good job.” Eliza nodded. “What’s going on?” Bella sneered. “Oh, just some novel business.” I said, with a flip of my hand. Bella made a face and gathered her things, trying to make me upset that she was going to strings class, with Justin. “Are you going to publish it?” Eliza asked. “Sure, why not?” I said aloud.

Book 1
Hayden
Chapter 7
I felt sick now. Sick to my stomach, for ever thinking I was going to let Dusty win. “Why did you just do a maniacal laugh?” Alison asked in study hall. She, Ben, Dream, and I were all seated at a table, pretending to read books. “Did I do that out loud?” I asked myself, hiding behind my small book. Ben nodded slowly and Dream clasped both hands over her mouth, trying not to laugh at me. “Who did that?” The mean teacher snapped, evil eyes narrowed as she glared us all down. I quickly flipped a page and pretended to be absorbed by the book. Of course, Alison truly was. She could read an encyclopedia cover to cover, no matter how boring it was. “So, Den, need some Justin help?” Ben asked, quickly snapping his book up as he finished. “Do I ever.” I grumbled. “My knees start shaking like crazy whenever he walks over.” Dream nodded. “She does fail a lot.” I whacked her arm. “Barely felt that.” She muttered, smirking. While Dream was flexing her muscles, I grabbed an unused laptop and logged onto my blog. On my latest post about Justin fails, Clara has written, “Don’t give up! If he’s as easygoing as he seems, you should be having conversations in no time!” I smiled at the comment. Maybe she was right...but I was still the shy writer. “So how often do you talk to Justin?” Ben asked, flipping through pages, stopping to doodle on every three. “Once a month or less.” I grumbled with a toss of my hand. “Ooh, that’s tough.” He said, rubbing his forehead. “Gosh, Hayden failed so much that even Ben can’t help her!” Dream gasped, laughing. I rolled my eyes, but this was true. I scribbled some notes on a paper, stuffed it into my jacket, and sighed. Who was I, really?

Art Teacher!!! Episode 3

Before you watch this, look below and read chapter six of twenty-five pages.

Now, watch!!

Chapter 6

Here is Chapter 6!

Book 1
Hayden
Chapter 6
“That was harsh.” Alison said as Bella left. “Wow, you were really and truly paying attention?” I gasped. She nodded. “I can still hear when I’m reading.” She smiled. “What was that something Bella was talking about?” “Oh, she BADLY wants Ben to find out about the Acts of Ben.” I told Alison as we exited the gym. “Why? Ben doesn’t even care about what he did last month.” She shrugged. In homeroom, Eliza sat furiously scribbling with a pen over her packet. “Can I see somebody’s answers?” She panicked, her blue eyes wide. Brenda looked up, picking at a book’s page with her fingernail. “Waited until the last minute, as usual?” I asked Eliza. She nodded. Brenda, without a word, tossed her packet Eliza’s way. “The random silence...” Bella said with a nod to Brenda. Mrs. Regan looked my way. “Hayden.” She motioned with her hand. I stood up and walked to her desk, black flats clicking on the floor like tap shoes. “You’re writing a novel, eh?” I nodded, pushing a strand of curly blonde hair behind my ear. “Let’s just say a little bird told me...” I looked around the room, wondering who would have given me away. Not that I minded; Mrs. Regan could know some publishers. “Would you like to read it?” I asked her. “Oh, yes. I would love to!” She clasped her small hands together and smiled a wide-tooth grin. “I’ll e-mail you a copy when I get home.” I smiled, sitting back down. “Glory, glory.” Bella grumbled under her breath. She took a small picture of Ben out of her binder and stuffed it back in. As I left the room to open my locker, my sweaty hands slipped all over the lock. I grumbled, “Great.” And took my last resort out of my pocket: a rubber surgical glove. Right as I slipped it over my hands, Justin strode to his locker and dropped his stuff on the floor. “Uh...” He stammered, looking at it. “Are you trying to be Michael Jackson or something?” I stammered a weak laugh. “No.” I coughed as he left. I shook my head. My crush-talking skills were pitiful. “Hey, it’s okay, Den. He’s so easygoing, anyone could talk to him.” Ben called as he passed by. “You still don’t get it, right? Tall and shy doesn’t mix with short.” I held up my hands for emphasis. “Just keep trying. You never know.” He said, walking away. “Thanks, Ben.” I muttered to myself. If he was right, I could simply hand Justin a copy of my novel when it was done. Then, he would read it, see that he was in the dedication, and read the scene with our characters kissing on the rooftop. Then, he could...well, that was only a dream. Dusty wanted him, so why not let her have him?

Spazzing out!

V was AMAZING last night, of course. Next week is the first season finale! Let's all hope ABC makes the best decision and keeps it on network!!!

Here's the next chapter! Halfway through Hayden's point of view...nearly on Bella's!

Book 1
Hayden
Chapter 5
I tied my hair up in a messy bun, loose strands sliding onto my ears. I clicked onto my blog, “Writers and Questions” and read the latest comments. Many were from my old friend Clara, whom I had gone to school with for many years. Clara, who had long blonde hair, freckles, and a toothy smile, lived a life with a packed family home. We hadn’t communicated in a while, but she was now back to writing her own story on a public blog as well. “Can’t wait to read your novel when you finish!” One of her comments said, along with her picture of an anime couple smiling. I smiled at the comment, which reminded me. I typed up a storm, full of fictional events to fill the spaces forming in the plot. “Jason took me up to the room of a building, his personal place.” A line read. This was my latest fictional chapter about my character and Justin’s sneaking away on a date. I really wished this was real, this more above anything else in the book. Kicking on my blue converse sneakers, I headed out the door for another morning at school. Alison was sitting in the gym, reading. “Oh, come on. Talk to us for one second, please!” Dream begged her. “One, done.” Alison smirked, quickly snapping the book back open. “Gosh, do you have to be so antisocial?” Ben asked. “Said the guy with headphones stuffed up his ears.” I remarked, quickly scribbling down some notes for the chapters I would write later that evening. “STEVE!” I heard Dusty call as she entered the gym. Justin’s last name was Stevens, and she called him Steve as a cute pet name. I gagged at the sound of the word. As I coughed loudly, Bella snuffed at me. “She’s cool, you know. She’s on my Color Guard team.” “Oh, like you didn’t hate Dream when Ben liked her.” About three months ago, there had been many little episodes where we all agreed that Ben was in love with Dream. Of course, it filled many chapters of my novel. Dream got her “I’m gonna punch you in the face” look, but Ben couldn’t hear. He was busy trying to look like he was rocking air guitar. “We weren’t friends then.” Bella said. “All of us hated her until a few months ago, too. Except you, of course.” “Dream, back me up here!” I said, waving my hands. “You know Bella was friends with you before the Acts of Ben.” That was what I formally, as a writer, liked to call them. “I’m sick of you guys fighting all the time!” Dream stood up, fists clenched. She stomped down the bleachers, leaving Ben still air strumming, Alison reading, and Bella and me fuming. “You were friends with her before the Acts of Ben.” I told Bella smoothly, walking away. “What? I heard my name!” Ben called, finally slipping a headphone out of his ear. “Oh, it’s nothing.” I said. “No, it’s something.” Bella said with a cold smile. “I’m sure you’ll find out from Hayden soon.”

Does this chapter reflect my depressed mood?

It should...

Book 1
Hayden
Chapter 4
The clouds were collecting the next morning. I woke up, feeling groggy and not wanting to get up, just like a typical teenager. “I just can’t wait to read your book!” My beautiful friend Sierra said. Her long brown hair flowed straight down her back as she walked beside me, talking. “I can’t wait for my character to kick Ben’s butt.” She laughed. Sierra and Ben had dated last year. Every now and again, he would walk to our table and try to scare her. She would do the same to him, and we all helped with her ideas. Of course, Dream’s ideas were the most evil, mine were the silliest, and Alison’s were always, “No! Don’t do that to Ben!” “Morning.” I said, waving to Brenda as I entered homeroom. “Why is it morning? Ugh, I hate them!” Eliza grumbled, curling up comfortably in her desk chair. “Yeah, every hour is night for you.” I laughed. “Got that right.” She agreed, wrapping the sleeve of her denim jacket around her face. “Oh, wake up Eliza! Smell my coffee!” Mrs. Regan laughed, cruising by our desks with a large cup of the smelly stuff. Ugh. I gag at the smell of coffee. “Fresh from the Teacher’s Lounge!” She said, walking to her desk and setting down the mug. Bella opened her large purple purse and dug for one of her many makeup products. She finally selected a purple tube of lipstick and ran it slowly along her lips, glaring into her desk for a reflection. “Eliza, how do I look?” She asked her. “Just fine and dandy.” Eliza grumbled. “That’s not a very friendly thing to say.” Bella huffed. “Look who’s talking.” I muttered under my breath. “Hayden, did you say something?” Bella asked, glaring at me. Her face shone with makeup. “Uh, no. Just taking some mental notes.” “Of course.” Bella gathered her belongings and marched to the door. As she reached the door, she turned. “I’m going to strings class, where JUSTIN is.” She said, smiling. “There is something wrong with that girl.” Eliza muttered, watching Bella as she stomped away. Sadly, however as I left the class, Justin was standing in a hallway corner talking to a tall girl. She had wave blonde hair, like my own, and was nearly as tall as me. He gave a long, loud laugh and gazed into her eyes. I sighed. “Don’t be so depressed about Justin and Dusty.” Alison said, looking up from her new book, which she was halfway through. “How can I not be? Dusty and I look about the same.” I frumped, hating to listen to my own depressed mood. “You never speak to him. SHE’S all over him.” Alison left, leaving me to ponder her wisdom line.

25 pages Chapter 3

YAHAHAHAHA

Book 1
Hayden
Chapter 3
I know what you’re thinking. “Why would a tall girl be afraid of a short nerd?” Well, it’s a lot harder when you have a crush on him. However, when you’re a shy writer, you get weak in the knees whenever this “nerd” approaches, you have a bad habit of inserting way to many “um s in your sentences, and you hate awkward silences, it’s very difficult. Trust me. I threw my binders to the ground and quickly turned my combination lock. I could feel my hands getting sweaty as I saw tan sneakers walk closer towards me. Tan sneakers with many black X’s outlined on them hit the floor beside me. Justin, dressed in a brown shirt and jeans, turned his combination lock as though nothing was happening. However, a storm was going on inside me. It was a storm of questions such as “What should I say?” “Why am I nervous?” “Does he notice that my knees are shaking incredibly hard right now?” Justin looked over at me as his brown bangs fell into his eyes. I bit my lip and looked away, determined not to let any of my secrets escape right in this minute. I slowly, too slowly, drew a binder from my locker and stuffed it into my tearing bookbag. “Do we have any homework?” He asked quickly, glancing over at me. “Uh, yeah, math problems.” I said glancing at my planner, covering an “I Love Justin” with my thumb. He nodded and said nothing more before jumping up and leaving. “Did you fail again today?” Dream asked, standing behind me as she always did. “I guess so.” I responded sadly. “Aw, come on, Den!” Ben called. Ben called me Den because it was one letter away from his name instead of Hay like most people called me. “He’s not that hard to talk to.” “You don’t understand my point of view, do you?” I asked him. Ben picked his guitar case off the ground and took two steps with his long legs toward the door. “Nope. See ya, Dream. Bye, Den.” He pushed the double doors open right as one of our teachers yelled, “Get on the bus! Get outta here!” I thought about how much of my life thoughts about Justin took up. Too much, sadly. “How was the day?” My short haired, exuberant mother asked as I got in the car. “Failure.” I grumbled, pushing my teeming bookbag under the leather seats. “Oh, honey. You’re not a fail!” She said, driving past the mean teachers that ran the car line. As I got home, I quickly finished a chapter of my novel, packing it with events from the fighting. I was hoping to release this and open Bella’s eyes to my world. She needed a good wake up call to stop slapping on makeup, squashing her friends, and trying to go for all the guys. “With a final toss of her hair, Bethany left. ‘She’s nuts.’ Bart said.” This was a line from my book about Ben’s opinion of Bella. “Welcome to the world, princess.” I said to myself, clicking save.

25 pages Chapter 2

Here we go!

Book 1
Hayden
Chapter 2
“All right, so you guys need to read the first three chapters of our classroom novel.” Mrs. Regan said as she strolled in between our desks, hands clasped behind her back. Her puffy blonde hair rose above her glasses and wrinkled face. She seemed young for her age, and was definantly cool. Everyone slowly took out the classroom novel, which was slow and boring. Across the room, I saw Brenda take out a book. Brenda, the girl who read almost as much as Alison, was more of a lonely reader, though. I felt kind of sorry for her. She didn’t have many friends to talk to in our class, and she only opened a book every few minutes. As I stretched my arms high above my head, I noticed my fingers grazing the top of the white board. I was too tall for my taste. “If you ever have to look Justin in the eye, he’s gonna think you’re Godzilla’s granddaughter.” Eliza said, looking up at my fingers. Oh, yes, I forgot. Justin is absurdly short for his age. Being fourteen like the rest of us, he stands at barely five feet tall, if that. “He already does, Eliza. He was SO shocked when I told him that Hayden loved him.” Bella said, placing both of her wide hands on her heart. “You DID?” I gasped. Bella collapsed with laughter, nearly falling out of her chair. I rolled my eyes. “Bella, I really hate it when you do stupid things like that.” I huffed. “It’s really cool to watch you overreact.” Eliza muttered, placing her strappy black flats on her desk and rested. “Whip out the video cameras, then.” I grumbled angrily. I really hated it when Bella acted up like this. Brenda lowered her book and watched me as I slumped lower in my seat, annoyed. “God, don’t take everything so seriously!” Bella snapped. I rolled my eyes at her and quickly made a note of the troubles to put in my novel. Eliza made a thick mark with her pen down the side of the first page of her packet and dropped her head on the desk. “Must be nice having friends who don’t sleep all the time.” Bella huffed, crossing her skinny-jeans clad legs into her chair. “I don’t sleep all the time.” I reminded her. “No, but you’re always absorbed by that book you’re writing. Oh, and it’s a pure fantasy world. Nothing happens that’s not the way you want it to in there.” “Not so. Characters fight, break up, and are metaphorically stabbed.” I said angrily. The bell rang, dismissing us to our lockers for the end of the day. I breathed in nervously. Time to face Justin.

Book 1
Hayden
Chapter 1

I was always the writer, the quiet writer. Over the summer that I turned fourteen, I was badly injured emotionally. Months later, still scared, I began my book that was intended to be completely about that experience. My plans for the book branched out into my life, fictional and true events included in this. The entire time over the course of the book, I worried about what my friends would think. Of course, they were in this book, too. Some of the things I said weren’t so good, either. I gnawed off my nails with nearly every chapter. “Yep, you’re so dead.” My friend Bella laughed at me when I told her about the book. She twirled her strawberry blonde hair around her fingers and opened her lipstick covered mouth wide. Lately, Bella had been trying too hard to get a man in her life. She coated herself in makeup and ruined her appearance; her obsessive nature didn’t help either. Her crush and good friend of mine, Ben, had pushed himself as far away from her as he could. His brown eyes would widen with fright against his pale skin whenever her name was mentioned. Eliza, our friend who didn’t care about much, leaned back in her chair and put her hands behind her straight black hair. Her blue eyes closed with sleep and she nodded her dark-skinned head at us. “What?” She called from this sleeping position. “Hayden’s writing a book, and it’s gonna ruin her life.” Bella called. “Wonderful.” Eliza muttered, barely moving. My friend Derricka, the tough chick, thought it was a good idea. When I brought it up in PE, her curly brown hair nodded as she agreed. “I’m all about someone being themselves. Look at me! I’m tough as I want, I go by Dream, and I don’t care who says what.” She then promptly turned and left into the gym. Alison, dark hair tied in a ponytail, scuttled after us. Her blue thin wire glasses were perched on the tip of her dark nose as she walked slowly and read at the same time. Alison was a very avid reader, always with a book in her hands. Ben waved from across the gym as we began running. “Ooh, another book!” Alison crooned. “I’m sure you’re halfway through the school library now.” Dream(Derricka) replied. “No, about a quarter. High school libraries are pretty awesome and large.” Alison reminded, trying to run while reading her book. Being a Freshman like the rest of us, Alison was astounded at how many more books there were compared to middle school libraries. After the class, I took some notes on the day’s events for use in my story. Across the room, Justin sat. Justin, with swayed brown hair, glasses, a perfect personality, and an amazing smile, was the ideal nerd. So, of course, he was my crush. He also had a starring role in my book, an added worry to my publishing stress. “Staring at him again?” Bella asked in a snide tone. “Oh, like you aren’t staring at Ben.” I replied, angry. “No! I am over Ben!” She said matter-of-factly. This happened on and off every few weeks, which guys she liked and which she didn’t. I drew a swirl up the left side of my paper, smiling. “What are you writing about me?” Bella panicked. I laughed. Really, I didn’t want Bella as my friend for much longer.

Art Teacher!!! Episode 2

Here's the next episode, entitled Messy Mess. Enjoy!

Academic Fair!!!

I'll post a pic of my large, crazy board when I return from this hectic event. See, we wrote a research paper and now, we have to make that paper come to life. This is REALLY a sign that the year is coming to and end now!!!!!!

Anyway, mine was about music studious. So, what I'm doing is running a playlist (because I had to play my music, I knew that I would have to and bless people with the gifts of Paramore, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, and Florence + The Machine) and there are a bunch of crazy papers on a board.

Those papers explain diferent effects in different songs and how they are made in a real studio! I hope I do good....

I did it! I did it!

I accomplished the great feat of giving a book away! Whoo, that took awhile! YAAAY!

I bought the album "Lungs" by Florence + The Machine. Except for one song, cuz it was icky.

But it is sooo cool! I was wrong to judge by the lyrics (which are strange) but they all have hidden meanings, and the beats are amazing.

GASP! V!!!

Okay, so....Logan Huffman cried, which makes it a hot episode! Lol.

Action was packed into the episode, as was suspense, surprise, shock, hatred for the V's...and That is why I love this show!!

I cross my fingers that it be kept on television for a new season. Because...this button says it all.

It's a virtual button...wish it was real.

V 2-nite!!!

I gotta pretty shirt! It's black with a bright red V down the center. In white letters, it reads, "The 5th Column Says Hello." (The 5th Column is a group of V's that are good and fought against the evil V's. It's very exciting.) As I wear it tommorrow, I will take pics, just as I did with my Jacob Black tee when I got it.

I stepped on a nail last night and my toe now has a mini-hole. Ow.

Today, since #3 wants my novel :D, he looked up at me, opened his mouth, and said nothing more. Is that good? Maybe? I thought it was. Tommorrow, he recieves the book.

Strawberry Wax

Look at my Random Song of the Week column and read the words. Now, come back to this post and read my parody words. A music video will be up soon.

Strawberry Wax (it's a personal experience) Parody of Strawberry Wine

I was gettin' a bandade
for my paper cut
The bandades were on the third shelf
I climbed on the counter
Yeah, I was caught somewhere between
klutzy and long legged
A liquid candle was right next to my legs
Now I think liquid candles are the stupidest thing
As I was getting down, I whacked it...and there was

Strawberry wax, everywhere
Scraping the counters
with a spatulear
My first candle spill
Oh, bleepy bleep
So, bring out the vacuum
For the Strawberry wax

I still remember
the wax on Mom's purse
And my biggest fear was when she would
walk in and freak out
A few screaming minutes and
a wet towel scrub
This wax was persistent, it wouldn't come off
But Mom was still screaming right up in my face
And I still remember the feeling

Of the Strawberry wax, everywhere
Scraping the counters
with a spatulear
My first candle spill
Oh, bleepy bleep
So, bring out the vacuum
For the Strawberry wax

The counter is cleaner now
Minutes of scraping now
There's nothing that isn't bright red
Is it really this or the screams of my mother that
makes me freak out this much

AAAAAAGH

Strawberry wax, everywhere
Scraping the counters
with a spatulear
My first candle spill
Oh, bleepy bleep
So, bring out the vacuum
For the Strawberry wax

Dreamed about V!!

I had a dream that I was captured by the V leaders and Logan Huffman saved me. Turns out the V's could fly...and so could he...

I don't think the V's are that advanced, though...neither is Logan Huffman (on the show, Tyler Evans) who is a mere human.

Now, a picture of half the V cast (the people in every episode, anyway)

From left to right: Father Jack Landry (the meek priest), Valerie Stevens (carrying a half V, half human baby :O) , Tyler Evans (SQUEEE! Isn't he soo hot?), Erica Evans (his kick-butt mother and FBI agent, she is amazing), Anna (V high commander), Chad Decker (the idiotic news reporter) and Ryan Nichols (Valerie's boyfriend, a good V)

Scary, scary, scary storms!!!

Our roof is leaking in some spots! One of my friends stood outside and the water was past her ankles! Lake Brookfield, the gorge where water collects when it rains, is gonna be flooding. Emily is very confused. She might get a new roomate soon! (Another pup)
